lucky girl

I will be 10 weeks at the end of this week. I alternate between saying, 'already?' and 'only?' Most of the people I work with know I am pregnant and I get a lot of "How are you feelings"? So, I thought I would address that. I'm at a point where I don't think I'll be jinxing myself.

I am feeling good. I'm one of those - one of the 25%. Not a minute of queasiness, never mind nausea and puking. I'm tired, but honestly, I tend to be a tired person who loves naps anyway. I have indigestion that's a bit worse than normal, but not everyday anymore. My boobs are huge, but they're not sore. No flames ladies! I know, I'm lucky in this respect. Finally...lucky. In the beginning I WANTED the symptoms, I wanted to know something was going on. And some days I still feel that way. My belly is hardening up and my pants are definitely tighter. It's hard to say if I'm growing, because, well, there was plenty there before we started. :)

I am with you. I am 18 weeks today and I have yet to have the typical pregnancy "signs". According to my mother and the "old wives" club, it meant I was having a boy. I found out last Weds. that they are correct. My two cents. After TTC for a year, I wanted to feel everything, and I have to tell you , now that I can relax in the 2nd trimester, I'm glad the nausea skipped me. As a single lesbian, I did not need one more thing to slow me down. :)

Co has (knock wood) had a relatively easy pregnancy too, which was a nice surprise after the invasive hell that was TTC....after the hell you went through with TTC (more than we did certainly) you deserve an easier pregnancy.

If you think your breasts are big now, wait until you start breastfeeding! I'm glad everything is going well for you.

I bet you are one hot mama-to-be, no matter what you might be implying. And those boobs were always perky, so I bet now they are just bigger, and still perky! I love you, SP. Tons and tons.

I'm having the same thing. Only I've been in maternity pants since week eight. And I do get sick, but only if I eat candy. I think we're ten weeks on the same day. Wahooo! I'm glad I'm not sick. I only wish I had just an ounce more energy. I guess I should just be really grateful for the lack of puke, eh?
